Things to Consider
What is your low hanging fruit? Easy to implement, will make money, fun (Collapse all your judgments & conclusions!!)
Write out all the offerings in your business currently, and also what you would like to offer
Now create a line bisecting your paper both horizontally and vertically so you have 4 sections on the paper
Next, write in the top left box "Easy, High Return"
Bottom Left: "More involved, High Return".
Top Right "Easy, low return"
Bottom Left: "Involved Low Return"
Now put everything in its appropriate box
Eg. Easy, high return could be a pkg of 5 sessions. Let's say, 5/500 or 5/400
(you could offer that tomorrow & someone could sign up)
Easy, low return could be a 1x session. It is high return per hour possibly, but you also have to spend energy to get more clients. If you can rebook them for 3 more sessions, even if it's at 20% off, you're better off than letting them go home without a future session.
Involved, high return could be a program that you run - it takes longer to put together & promote, but will have a high yield
Involved, low return could be a class you co-teach.
Maybe you work on it for a long time & by the time you split costs, per hour is $6 or something like that.
Ask to tap into your intuition/knowing for this exercise. Some things may not seem to be generative, but are -- or are easier to execute than you think.
As we look at numbers together next month, you'll get clear & have a better idea. I know we don't always like to look at real numbers, but if you'd like your business to make money, it's important to GET CLEAR. I used to think Foundation classes generated me a lot of money, and upfront it looks like that, but when I count the hours put in, the raw materials, etc. Online classes by far are higher return.

Mentioned in week 3 For Online Businesses:
Ramit Sethi Has great business resources: http://growthlab.com here’s one of them
The 3 online business systems you need to start a successful business
Don’t overcomplicate things. All you really need are 3:
Everything you do after that will be built on top of these three systems.
For testing an idea; 1. Find 1 person -- JUST ONE! -- who might be interested in your idea. You can do this via email or in person. If you're not sure, ask ANYONE remotely close to the idea, even your parents. We're not aiming for perfection right now, just people. (With a new idea, I, Kathy, asked someone in a message, and also posted on FB. The answers I got really surprised me.)
2. "Test" for language using this script: "I'm thinking of starting some kind of website around [YOUR IDEA]. When you talk to your friends about it, what do you say? What's the biggest problem around [YOUR IDEA]?"
3. Write down the exact language they use. Did they really say, "I want a solution that's easy, fast, and secure"? No, they did not. WRITE DOWN WHAT THEY ACTUALLY SAY. "I hate how these jeans look on me" is a terrific response. "Every day I wake up, I just dread going to work" is another.
In the Facebook group, let us know your findings! In your post, include:
