Traditionally in yoga, the emphasis has been on one-on-one lessons because they allow you to receive the most benefits.

After discussing your needs & goals, we'll explore yoga tools to target your desires:
physical, mental, emotional, spiritual

We can work with your capacity on every level: from chair yoga to yoga for athletes
Receive a sketched practice to take home. (a 5min "yoga snack" or up to 1hr, depending on your interest.)  
In future sessions, we'll refine your practice, as you expand your abilities and your needs change.

Kathy has worked with private yoga students for 16 years. Her oldest student is in her late 80's, and youngest is pre-teen.

In a yoga therapy session, we apply the tools of yoga (movement, breath and meditation) as a complementary therapy for healing or for mitigating symptoms of chronic conditions.
​In follow-up sessions (in person or via Skype) we'll adjust the practice to continue to fit your needs & goals.

We’ll use movement coordinated with breath to align your body and bring freedom, strength, stability, and flexibility to body and mind. We'll formulate a program to address your needs, including a short practice designed especially for you (5-50min) and possibly other self-care tools to support your healing.

Clients are constantly impressed that even a brief daily practice can bring profound and lasting results.

Kathy's training is through the American Viniyoga Institute, directed by Gary Kraftsow, one of the foremost yoga therapists in North America.
